About Stephanie Westdal

Stephanie Westdal is an international visual artist as well as a singer/songwriter musician. She is a Canadian expat having lived and worked in Canada, Senegal, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and the USA. Stephanie has come full circle and is currently based in Winnipeg, Canada.

Stephanie’s love of bold color, and art that conveys a strong statement, are evident in her visual art pieces as well as her music. Her international experiences and art lessons have exposed her to a rich plethora of colors, customs, art and people. She is intrigued and motivated to better understand a person’s inner landscape, which is evident in her artistic work. Whether engulfed in the details of a fantasy collage, a “mini-vini” (miniature vignettes), a painting or a song, Stephanie finds herself entranced by the childlike joy of the creative process, as the physical world fades in the distance. She believes the process is the vital essence of the journey. The art reflects the artist.

Stephanie’s commissions include large scale paintings which hang in professional and personal spaces across the globe. She is currently producing several new commissions.
